What is a XPeng Master Account?

When you purchase a Chinese-spec XPeng vehicle, the original Master Account is often bound to a Chinese phone number. To unlock the full features of your XPeng, such as app control, remote start, and OTA updates, you need to transfer the Master Account to your own credentials.

Who needs a Master Account transfer?

Any owner of an imported Chinese-spec XPeng who wants full connectivity. Without the Master Account, you are effectively using a guest profile with limited functionality.
